Corecom Technology Academy (CTA) is delighted to announce that we will be taking part in Leeds Digital Festival 2022, addressing: ‘The tech skills shortage – how to survive and thrive’. The event will take place on Thursday 29 September from 6.00 – 8.30pm at Lost & Found Leeds Club.
Hosted by Thomas Crabtree and James Taylor - Academy Directors and Kelly Newton – Marketing Executive at CTA, the event will address:
employee experience, from onboarding through the employment lifecycle
how to ensure and enable the transformation of promising candidates into top-performing employees
what a systematic recruitment process looks like
the information, tools and relationships new employees require to be able to do outstanding work
James Taylor, Academy Director, said:

James is an experienced people and resource projects manager whose expertise stretches across several technical verticals. Having worked in technology staffing solutions for over 12 years, he has a blend of recruitment, tech outsourcing and tech academy knowledge. James has run staffing projects for clients across the UK, ranging from retained exec search, graduate academy assessment centres and projects of tens of tech professionals for statements of work with both permanent and contract resources.
Fellow Academy Director, Thomas Crabtree, has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years, with 8 years focused on delivering Academies. He has been involved in the selection, training, placement and ongoing learning and care of hundreds of graduates for multiple clients across the UK. His experience stretches across various aspects of IT Operations and Development, with a particular focus on Software Testing.
Kelly Newton specialises in Digital Marketing, with a focus on employer branding. She is responsible for developing, managing and delivering candidate attraction and engagement activities designed to help clients, such as Tunstall Healthcare, improve their employer brand and attract more talent into their business.
